woweeewwoooohoooo! Space is getting back in the drivers seat of another Monte!! All will soon be right in the universe again! Congratulations on that sweeeet find Space! One of my fav gen Monte's. Not to sound too cliche, but it couldnt have happened to a nicer guy!

Congratulations Space!
Hope the car treats you nicely! Sadly, I'm sure it won't be as good on gas, but I'm sure it'll make up for it considering you will have a much easier to swallow payment! (if any at all)
Not to mention with a little common sense and a cheap part here or there that car will be a rip-snorting street machine, that should last two shades of forever! You can't, NOT find decently-priced mods for that engine!

Hey. Keep an eye on Chim, Chim. I watched SpeedRacer for a few years while I was in HS. I know the trouble Spritle and Chim, Chim got in to. Oh and check the trunk often. Especially if you're getting ready for a race. And lock up any candy you have laying around.

SS `Space Update
Before I had to go to work last night, I met the deceased owner's daughter of my next Monte Carlo.
It's being kept in a locked garaged @ a condo complex.
I got to look it over really close, and drive it around
the parking lot : ). It has a few minor dents/scratches
that you really/really have to look for : )
When I opened the trunk I discovered a plastic box
with every service record/part replacement/mpg chart
etc. The maintenance records are awesome, and
the service to this Monte is unbelievable.
The owner was a Monte Carlo Lover : )
and CarNut : )
The daughter is going to ask the attorney `if I can have
the keys to the garage, and Monte until the Probate court
can release the t i t le to me : ). This will allow me to clean
and keep her charged up until I can license it.
