"These lights are really new and seem to be selling well at it's current price. We've done some group buys in the past, but in our experience they never seem to work out well for us. Usually there are a few people who want them and we get presented with the offer that many people want them. We offer the discount and find that even fewer people wanted them and only a handful of people get them at a the lower price and we end up not making much.

I went to your forum to see if there was a discussion of these lights and see a few people feel the lights are overpriced. Unfortunately for us a distributor, we have to pay whatever the manufacturer charges. This manufacturer happens to be one of the most expensive light makers. They don't dump their stuff out at bargain basement prices as they feel there products are manufactured better (which they are), they give a 1 year warranty (where most companies give 30 days), they take chances on vehicles no else does, and it's costly to design and make them. It costs a minimum of $100k to make tail lights and also when it's ordered from the factory, they have to order a minimum of several thousand units spread across several months whether they sell them or not. So, it's not a small investment or risk, so they do wish to see a return for taking the risk of making them. They've done the same for some other vehicles that no one else has (like the Ford Taurus, FJ Cruiser, etc). So, they can command a premium as it's supply & demand. On our side, we have to buy them, take pictures (as they usually don't), advertise, stock them, and we have our own overhead we have to cover.

When we advertise things on ebay, we consider that a small group buy of sorts. The normal price of these is $339. We put them at $319 on our website (so it's less than retail), and then another $20 on ebay, so it's $40 off retail on ebay.

If there is a minimum of 10 people to buy (at the same time), we'll go to $269.99 which is 20% off retail."

The easiest way is to call.  We don't have our site setup to create a discount and give free shipping at the same time (we can do one or the other).  So, we're doing something a little different for all of you.

as much as i like them i still dont have the 300.00 for them right now.
they are willing to come down some for 10 folks witch is pretty good for those 10.
I fi had the cash i would do it. but like i said i was workign on a set for my car anyway and have time and money invested in them also.

I ordered a set from matrix racing and their customer service and shipping time is the best I have found in a company. If there is ten people that want these lights I would highly recommend them.

We can mix and match colors and years as long as atleast 10 purchases are made to get them at the $269.99 price.  Thats $30 cheaper than on ebay, and $70 cheaper than retail.

Can you verify what kind of quantity they have available? I want a set of black ones, but they say on eBay only 2 sets are available (at $269.99 I'd jump on them as soon as possible). 

For 269.99 i would be in as well.

I am in, I will order black, I committ, Anybody else that can buy these now post if your in. This is a good discount and the best way to save a little cash.

Ya I would recommend these things they are awesome on my SS. The light that they give of is pretty powerful, they get many looks. However after I installed mine the blinkers started going 90mph. But simple way to fix that is to stop using the blinkers lol.

Paul, here is the response I got from the seller when asked if they could be different years and colors.

"Cost-wise to us, the 00-05 and 06-07 are the same as well as the different colors. So, this can be a mix-n-match type deal. As long as it’s 10 of any year/color.  That should make it easier for a group of ten to step up.  We get a small break when we buy case quantities from them, so if you have some guys only buying more of one color and less of another, we’d have to “overstock” on the less popular colors and thus be out of money while we wait to sell.  We’d be willing to do that if we know we’re getting 10 at one time. Also, please note that red is also available."

So they would order a case of them if they knew they were selling 10 or more at once.

Those are nice, but $270 is more than I want to spend right now. I'm probably just going to get a set painted.

I can't wait to see how these look once installed, whoever gets some soon had better get some pictures, I'm interested in how well these fit.

Man if i had the cash i would be there for yall but cant do it right now.  but will love to see them on your cars.

as of now, with me being in college that is a LARGE stretch for me to try to pull off at that price. Ill try and hopefully be one of the ten, but I need to arrange some finances to give you guys a better estimate.
