04 MC LS - caliper colors - your opinion

Hi everyone.
I have an 04 Monte Carlo (victory red) that I'm eventually looking at mounting slot rotors and possibly painting the calipers.
I've seen a lot of folks painting them red but my wife and I were also looking at a deep yellow (not bright like a canary).
I've seen a red viper on tv one day with yellow rims and calipers. It kind of looked like a tonka toy but I'm wondering if just the calipers painted yellow against a red car would look 'lame'.
I've put a yellow piece of paper behind the rim and it looks good to our eyes. Just wondering what others think too....... thanks.

i've seen a red car here in my town with yellow calipers...it looks pretty good actually ..mind you its a neon...but i think they'd look good on the monte..

Yellow? Or the Tony Stewart orange? That'd look awesome on your car.

What about painting them silver? If you want them to really stand out use a bright silver. Or if you want to tone it down use a darker silver.
 
 

I stayed with the red. I wanted to keep the red silver theme going

Well, I haven't done the work yet. Finished putting in a homemade FWI over the weekend (that was fun but the red painted PVC looks good, no pics yet). The rotors are on their way out so I'm contemplating slot rotors and thinking of painting at the same time. Once they are done, I'll see about getting pics and posting. I was just looking at opinions at the moment. Still running the stock rims too.

I think red calipers on a red car would look amazing.  I love seeing red brembo calipers on ferraris, and they look just as cool on a monte.  I have a black monte and anything i put on it has to be black or red.  I love the color schemes some of you guys come up with, espeically blue and silver and red and silver

I think the black Montes with a red bow tie on them is so nice looking.

That's actually a really cool idea!!!!  I'm thinking of doing that now.
 
hehe, otherwise transparent is a good color, just perform a caliper delete mod... helps save weight.  :)
