yeah i have been looking all over for something! I even asked a shop up here if they could just do a custom turbo set up and they wont because of the tranny!? well i guess ill just take the money and do all the body mods and interior mods and save up again for the kit if they ever make one!! btw how does the delta flow 40's sound on the 3.9?

No turbo kits available, but you could get one made custom for it. Cost would be about 3 grand.

i was thinking about that but will the stock motor hold it let alone would the tranny hold up on it?

IMO - the motor would probably hold up - GM usually over-engineers their engines. The tranny on the other hand is another story...

I think the motor will handle the turbo for sure. GM motors are usally bulletproof. But very true the tranny's I don't think so. On another forum I'm on, the SS, 5.3 have had some trouble with there tranny and all they have done is a tune, so turbo would blow the trans to bits. I love the Delta Flow's on my car, sound mean as hell, on my car domain I have a sound clip, not the best, have to get better. But has a really good deep rumble. Solaraslayer has Flowmaster 44's but they are the loudest and meanest mufflers. The Delta Flow are a little quiter and not as loud in the car, but outside the car, you hear them alright.

They have one in the works for the Pontiacs with the 3.9, but it's only for vehicles with a manual transmission, which is (unfortunately) a pontiac-only thing

yeah man i like the way the 40's sound i just want something with a lil rumble to it well i guess i'll just do minor mods now and hope gm or some one gets a turbo out for us 3.9 guys!!!!

I'd feel confidant on the engine as long as you can tune it so you don't knock. Transmission I have no idea. Turbos are gentler on transmissions than superchargers are, but no way of knowing.

yeah well my friend for awhile had a nissan murano which had the 3.5 v6 in it with the cvt tranny and he spent about 5 grand on a custom turbo set up and he only took it to shows and the tranny blew after about the third or fourth time driving it nissan said the tranny was only rated at i think 300hp or something so it really couldnt handle it
