I think the best part of the 600 last night was when Jeffery boy hit the wall....... That made the race for me.....
I am not a little E fan. But I have to say that I have never heard him say that he was or even is better then his dad. Matter a fact I think he has said that he has a lot to learn to get even close to what his dad was able to do. You cant blame Little E for what the fans do. I will pick him way before I will pick wonder boy.....
Heck after all I am the vice pres of the Fan Against Gordon club......

but who's the better driver between gordon and jr??
in my opinion there is no comparison...gordon is way better...gordon is probably the #1 driver in Nascar today...no matter how many people dont like him...and most people dont like him because he is so good (which i dont understand)
but the best part of any race shouldn't be a crash....even if it was jr that crashed i would be wondering if he was ok...you dont want to see anyone hit the wall that hard...when sr hit the wall he didn't look like he hit it that hard...and i cheered...but i feel bad for that now seeing as what happened....
anybody that cheered when gordon hit the wall on sunday night shouldn't be too proud of themselves...what happens if something had happened to him...his little girl wouldn't have a daddy after that....thats the way i look at it
i think Gordon is the # 1 driver in nascar today....and i even thought he was #1 when he first started...i have been a huge fan since he started

First off ask how many people watch Nascar or any other racing just to watch the cars go around.
You will find that most people watch it for the wrecks.
No I dont like it when someone dies from a wreck (they are racers, they know what can happen, thats why they get the big bucks). I was never a Earnhardt fan I too cheered when he hit the wall, I also was said because of his death. I have been a race fan since the 70's. I have had the pleasure of racing guys like Jr, Denny, Martin Truex ect on line with them in sim racing. Nascar is a great sport and trust me the drivers know what can happen to them no matter how safe NASCAR tries to make the cars.
When the man upstairs pulls your number it will not matter what you are doing or who is working on you to save you, YOUR TIME IS UP AND THAT IS IT
As far as Gordan goes..... he is one or one of the most biggest cry babies in Nascar..... I put him on the same level as Rusty Wallace.... Even DW is better then Gordan......
I think you will find that most will say Tony is a better driver then Gordo is.....
Keep an eye or two on Denny as well.....

I don't give a fly'in fart if you don't like me & I respect
your opinion, but what's your bio look like. Have you
tried to place yourself in my shoes ?
Bio of
Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Birthday: Oct. 10, 1974
Hometown: Kannapolis, N.C. Dale Earnhardt Jr. is the most popular -- and well-seen -- driver in NASCAR. From television to videos to magazines and books (as an author) and then to the track, fans clamor to the third-generation driver of a famous racing family. Earnhardt's roots in racing begin with his maternal grandfather, Robert Gee, who was a renowned NASCAR fabricator and mechanic. His grandfather, Ralph Earnhardt, was voted as one of NASCAR's 50-best all-time drivers in 1999. His father, Dale Earnhardt, is a seven-time Cup champion. Earnhardt Jr. became the first third-generation NASCAR champion when he won the first of his back-to-back Busch Series titles in 1998. Earnhardt also had something else in common with his father -- a tremendous work ethic. Upon graduation from high school Earnhardt received a two-year automotive degree, and was hired as a mechanic in his father's Chevy dealership making a little more than $15,000 a year. Earnhardt took up racing at 17 in Street Stocks, practically building a car from scratch. From there he went to the NASCAR Late Models. He raced in that division for three years and, as impressive as he was on the track, gained in-depth knowledge of chassis setup and car preparation. In 1996, while enjoying the best season of his Late Model career, Earnhardt made his Busch Series debut in a car owned by his father. He started seventh and finished 14th at Myrtle Beach. Earnhardt recorded his first top-10 in a limited 1997 schedule before taking over the No. 3 Chevrolet in '98. He won his first race, at Texas, in his 16th career start. Coincidentally, Dale Earnhardt won his first Cup race in his 16th start. Earnhardt Jr. won seven races in 1998 with 16 top-fives and 22 top-10s in 31 races. He took a champion's Victory Lap with his father after the season-finale at Homestead. Earnhardt out-battled Matt Kenseth and Jeff Green to win the Busch Series title again in 1999, posting six victories, 18 top-fives and 22 top-10s. He also made his Cup debut, driving the No. 8 Chevrolet for Dale Earnhardt Inc. Earnhardt chose the number in honor of his grandfather's car. His best finish in five starts was a 10th in September at Richmond. As in the Busch Series two years earlier, Earnhardt's first Cup victory came in the season's seventh race, at Texas. Earnhardt won twice in 2000 with three top-fives and five top-10s and became the first rookie to win the All-Star race at Lowe's. Update May 29,07
THE BIG STORY Rain and fuel mileage played into the outcome of Sunday's Indianapolis 500 and Coca-Cola 600. On racing's biggest weekend, Dario Franchitti was in front when rain stopped Indy for the second time, ending the race at 415 miles. A cut tire had forced him to pit earlier than his rivals and so he moved up as others came in before another downpour. At Charlotte's Lowe's Motor Speedway, Mears got his much anticipated first Nextel Cup triumph by stretching his gas supply. As other leaders pitted in the closing 10 laps, he stayed out, giving Rick Hendrick's team its fifth consecutive victory and ninth in 12 races this season. Also: NASCAR announced the Car of Tomorrow will be used in all races next season, advancing the planned schedule by one year . . . Tony Gibson served as Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s crew chief at Charlotte after DEI dropped its appeal of NASCAR penalties for CoT illegal modifications at Darlington. Tony Eury Jr. is suspended for six races . . . Paul Tracy, who got a back injury as a result of a crash at Long Beach, has been cleared to drive in the next Champ Car race in Portland. Oriol Servia, who subbed for Tracy, will continue with the Forsythe team . . . Former heavyweight boxing champion George Foreman and his sons joined the IRL Panther Racing ownership group.Return to Top Indianapolis 500 Helio Castroneves' Penske crew won Friday's pit crew contest. Jim Nabors was unable to travel to Indy from his home in Hawaii, due to illness, so fans were asked to sing "Back Home Again in Indiana." Sunday morning rain stopped for an almost on-time green flag, but a battery problem caused Castroneves pole-sitting car to be slow starting. He took his place up front and led a single-file start by the front-row drivers. No. 2 qualifier Tony Kanaan passed to lead the opening two laps, then he and Castroneves swapped it between themselves for the first 40 laps, until a very aggressive Marco Andretti moved ahead. Roberto Moreno crashed on lap 36 and complained of back pain but was released from Methodist Hospital. Milka Duno found the turn-one wall after completing 65 laps. Scott Dixon and Sam Hornish also got to the front. Andretti was back ahead for a lap 107 restart when teammate Kanaan powered on by and then the red flag waved for rain on lap 113. The top five were Kanaan, Andretti, Danica Patrick, Vitor Meira and Dario Franchitti. After just under three hours, racing resumed, and Franchitti quickly had to dive to the pits to replace a cut tire and his crew refueled the car at the same time. Kanaan, Andretti and Patrick had to pit on lap 137 and that allowed Dario to move ahead after battling back through traffic. He needed ethanol on lap 143 and, by lap 150, Kanaan was again the leader. Under a yellow, for Marty Roth's wreck, Kanaan pitted and Franchitti again took command. On lap 163, Andretti touched wheels with Dan Wheldon, and Marco landed upside-down but wasn't hurt. During this yellow, rain returned, and Franchitti splashed his way to the checkered flag on lap 166 – 415 miles. Dixon was second, followed by Castroneves, Hornish and Ryan Briscoe. Patrick was eighth. Kanaan finished 12th after spinning off turn four, going high to try to move around slower traffic. Franchitti averaged 151.774 mph with 11 cautions for 55 laps. There were 23 lead changes among nine drivers. Franchitti became the second Scotsman to win Indy, joining Jimmy Clark in 1965. Dario earned $1,645,233 from a record $10,668,815 purse. Phil Giebler, 29th, was named Rookie of the Year. Michael Andretti, 13th, said he won't drive next year. Alex Lloyd won Friday's Freedom 100 Pro Series race.

Predictions for DOVER
Fantasy Preview: Dover
By `Space,
Special MCF to NASCAR.COM
June, 2007
Forty-nine drivers enter the weekend with hope in their hearts of making the show, and before the engines are ever fired on Sunday, six get knocked out. On race day, 43 drivers will enter Dover International Speedway, and each of them believes he can be victorious. Only one man leaves the track and heads to Victory Lane, while the others plot revenge
and set their sights on Pocono Raceway.
The bully in the ring
It's currently Hendrick Motorsports. Not only has the team won eight of the last nine races in the Cup Series -- five of which have come consecutively -- it has swept Victory Lane in five Car of Tomorrow events and placed each of its teams at the top of the grid at least once in 2007.
Mod Wiz loves him : )LOL

Rick Hendrick's drivers are going to continue to be hard to beat, as they have shown collective strength on the high-banked tracks in general, and at Dover in particular. Jeff Gordon
leads all active drivers with nine high-banked victories. Four of these have come at Dover and five were earned at Bristol Motor Speedway, which proves he knows his way around the concrete ovals. His last three attempts on these two tracks ended in top-five finishes, and he led the field to the green from the pole in the last two races. In five COT events this year, he's swept the top-five, and he's looking to regain some of the points he lost in his Lap 61 crash at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Kyle Busch might have an even better opportunity to find Victory Lane.
He is certainly hungrier than Gordon after struggling at Darlington Raceway and Lowe's in back-to-back events. The driver of the No. 5 has had an affinity for this track since the first time he visited it in his rookie season. In 2005, he finished second in both events and backed that up with another top-five last spring. He ran into trouble in the fall and finished 40th, but with catastrophe lurking around every concrete corner of this joint, it is easy to become a victim. Busch made up for his fall stumble at Dover by winning at Bristol this spring, and he's prepared to battle the high banks. Busch has been inconsistent so far in 2007, but his struggles have been just as short-lived as his successes. Moreover, he's been an all-or-nothing driver, and if he stays out of trouble, another top-five is virtually guaranteed. Jimmie Johnson was even better in his inaugural season at Dover than teammate Busch. He [color=#0

DOVER, Del. -- Dale Earnhardt Jr's free-agent price tag just might be rising as fast as his qualifying speeds. With his crew chief suspended and contract negotiations for next season still ongoing, nothing seemingly has served as a distraction of late on the track for the surging Earnhardt.

Newman followed last week's front-row start with his second consecutive pole and 40th overall with a lap at 152.925 mph. Earnhardt was second at 152.387 and Bobby Labonte third in 152.304 for Sunday's race on the mile concrete track. "Second was close and we can have a sense of pride in that accomplishment," Earnhardt said. Although he was denied his first pole in 164 races, racing these days comes a whole lot easier for Junior than talking about where he might end up after this season. Decision day is looming for the wildly popular NASCAR driver, who says three or four teams are still in serious contention to land the free agent once he ends his run at Dale Earnhardt Inc. "I can tell you that things are positive," Earnhardt said. "I've just been overwhelmed with the personalities I met."
