For all of you with aftermarket HUs

This is a question for anyone with an aftermarket headunit that they installed themself. Are the aftermarket HUs compatible with the SCV feature? If so, is there any special wiring that needs done? I was thinking of installing a headunit but I still like to be able to hear the Foos (best band ever) playing in the background when Im gunning it. Also, if you get an installation wiring kit with the headunit and wire it up, do the steering wheel controls still work? Im pretty good with wiring up these headunits, but im new to the SCV and steering wheel controls. And last, do i even NEED an aftermarket headunit? What are these stock CD radios like when hooked up to subs?

You will need to get a seperate harness to get the steering wheel controls to work.
