Here we have the tranqil river RJ flowing lazily through the country side.
And here we have MOST of the river RJ flowing through our basement. (come on sump pumps. Don't die on me now!!!! All three of you)

not quite the mississippi, but it's pretty big.
gotta love nature :(
To the north (how the pictures are looking) there's 5 houses on the east side of the road and 5 on the west side. Beyond that it's open fields for at least 6 miles.
All the water from the north flows this direction to the river about 1/2 mile away.
Good thing we're on a hill (compared to the river) or it could be worse then it is.
