Getting more ponies

I'm looking for a supercharger or turbocharger and opinions. In ya'll opinion, which would run better in the 2002 3.8L V6 Monte Carlo SS? I'm trying to find a wrecked monte with a super in it cause like everyone i'm trying to save money. Thanks.

supercharger is better for off the line performance, instant gratification. Turbo is better for bottom end. So do you want quickness or speed?

I would roll with the turbo...

For $3K you can get a turbo kit that will get you close to 300HP. The stock supercharged monte is only gonna get you 240HP. Get another trans too... Your gonna need one after that HP infusion.
