Still can't find a drag radial for 20's!!! One of my best friends is a manager at Weld Wheels, and he's having problems helping me for christ sakes!!! Nitto doesn't even make them that big. WTF???
I desperately need something that can hook. On the street I just end up going sideways every time I lay into it. It's hard to race Mufftangs and such when you can't hook (even though I beat them spinning). I went with a Hot Rod look by putting 20's out back and 18's up front. The stance is absolutely perfect, and I don't want to change it. But if I can't find something that will hook, I may have to sell my wheels and get new ones (and lose my ass in the process). But all the horsepower in the world won't do you any good if you can't hook.
This sucks guys. My car has the perfect stance with this set-up, so please help a brother out.

Hi Kurt, I hope that a member can help you out on your launch -hook-up problems. I'd keep searching the WORLD-WIDE WEB for Drag 20's.
Please share some pic's of your ride & what you've done to your engine : )
Did you try lowering air pres & RPM on your launch ? Feather the throttle coming off the line ? (Maybe dumb questions, but I"m a novice).
Good Luck on your Search....`Space

Funny you asked for pics. I was just busy getting some posted in the photo gallery. Took me a while to figure out how to do it, but I officially have pics posted. CHECK THEM OUT!!!
BTW my cowl induction hood is on order and should be on the car before Spring!!!
Now if I can just figure out how to post a larger picture in my sig like some of these other guys have on here.

on the tires, this is a long shot but i know they have helped other out in the past with issues.
Get a hold of B.F.Goodrich. and talk with them about making the tires you need. some of the plats can actually make a set of tires that are custom for you. considering the tires that are on the car are a common size as in the 20" size but the drag radials normally are not in that size. So they might beabel to make the drag radials for ya.
you can also get a hold of Good year to attempt it.
But BFgoodrich and believe it is Mickey's were some of the first to bring them out so they might be willing to make a set to get them on the market for ya.
Good luck and let us know if you find them .

well maybe they just dont make them in that size because the sidewalls couldnt flex. might just try seeing what the softest tires in your current size is.
