HAS ANYONE EVER CONSIDERED OR HAVE PICTURES OF THEIR MONTE WITH LARGER (AT LEAST 1 INCH) RIMS IN THE BACK OR WIDER TIRES? I KNOW THERE'D BE NO REAL BENEFIT FOR THIS AS FAR AS PERFORMANCE BUT IT MIGHT LOOK MEAN.

people who know you're fwd would think you're stupid and give you funny looks.  besides, thats more of an 80's look than today... looks good on old camaro's and monte's... not yours though i wouldn't think.

when i said mine were 18's i ment mine are 18's All the way around the car. Not in the front.

you could do the 20's in the rear and the others up front. it would give a natural slant to the car. btu i dont think it would look right knowing it is a FWD car and also being the style of the car.

But hey i think it is worth the try to see if ya like it.

yea it'd be pretty dumb. maybe a good idea if you're converting to rear wheel drive

wrong car for that look in my opinion...i would just stick with the same size all the way around...people would get confuzed, usually you see that on a rear wheel drive vehicle

well i thought u might have been talking about staggered fitment, thats what im going to run on my monte carlo once i return from iraq. i know for a fact that there are 3 people in atlanta that are running them, 2 of them with 22"s(candyred04, black07) and one with 20"s(red07). now listen to this on the 20's there 20x8.5 in the front and 20x10 in the rear.

i dont even know about staggered fits to be honest.  not really noticable... then you cant rotate your tires.

   I love that look

you aren't wrong i was asking about both the staggered fitment and going for different sizes. I just wondered if anyone had done it before. I think a little while ago  someone said they hated the front wheel drive vehicles because it seems like the rear tires get pulled into the wheel well.
I guess if you aren't worried about rotating tires.. staggered fitment looks great. I wonder how it drives.

even in some of our sigs you can see it. at the top of the rear is about two inches in from the outside of the fender

they look the same to me other then the actuall tire width.

this would be certantly a diffrent look.

when you say stagerd i was under the impression of running like a 18 up front and a 20 in the rear witch would give it a natrual rake to it.
