I have a knife collection. Nothing fancy or expensive. A few daggers, lock blades, a hunting knife or two, a few beyonettes (one is suppose to be over 100 years old), tons of pocket knives, a butcher knife or two, a real japanese sword my father brought back from a trip to Japan in 1987 and a few others.
 
My dad said you should have seen the look on the custom's lady when she scanned his suitcase and saw the sword inside.
 
But to me, knives have a certain beauty to them. Like art work.
 
 
  

oh yes rj i love the blade, i own may katana and sai and so on and so forth, and yes josh this is a reproduction of itchigos zanpakutou or his soul cutter its awesome and he uses it so slice demons and other soul reapers *as the translation goes* all to pieces lol  but imagine that a 52" long solid steel blade good lord ive gotta have it

my favorite thing that i remember with knives was the movie crocodile dundee, "thats not a knife!, this is a knife "

very cool - love the japanese knives and swords.  I'd love to have one from the movie Kill Bill - those were some awesome blades!!!

they are prolly just for show but hey you arent planning to use them are you?

This is pretty much 100% what the sword looks like my dad brought me back from Japan.

Yeah. When my dad brought it back and gave it to me I let my (then) girlfriend's little boy handle it. He loved to waving it around.
 
And we'd tell him, "You'll poke your eye out."
 
He stabbed mom in the butte once with it. So I had to take it away from him.
