Another new guy online.......always into cars of one kind or another.

Right now gotta '57 Chevy 3100 runn'in a 455 Olds and a 400 Turbo. Friends got an '82 Monte with a 355, mild cam, and some tire squeal'in through a beefed 350 Turbo and a 3:42 posi-trac. It'll be for sale in the classifieds soon.

I've had several cars of late, a '23 T bucket with a 450 hp small block, a '53 Vicky, '73 Nova, '72 SS 396 Chevelle, '56 Pontiac, '59 El Camino and several other rides along the way.

Fun hobby, we'll be checking back in from time to time.

Hi `JayD, & Welcome to the Monte Carlo Family Forum.

You have been fortunate to have owned so many nice rides.
Would sure love to see pictures.
Did you build them `all ?
Look forward to your future posts, and hopefully
pictures of what you have, and what you've had.

Okay, you dragged it outta me.........here's some more....maybe

And thanks for the compliments!!!

I did build the Vicky between 1999 and 2007, doing all the work myself, with exception of the headliner and the louvers in the hood. It had a brand new 302 backed up with a AOD transmission. I know, it a FFFFF........ord......., but it was fun anyway.

The picture of the Victoria is an 'in process' picture, it won the 'Cool Vicky' award at Goodguys in Kansas City in 2005.

Plus a ration of Corvettes and a '69 Nova drag car that I can't get scanned.

Most of them are in front of my circa 1935 Texaco station in Maryville, MO.

Sorry, I can't seem to get my pics to appear, I'll keep trying.

Thanks Wiz Kid,

Selling the yellow one was the one that I'm still regretting. I pretty much play with them until I start wanting something else. I owned the 'bucket' for 10 years and had pretty much rebuilt the whole car during that time.

It was a rush to drive, pulled about 450 hp and weighed 1280 lbs full of fuel. It'd spin those big 'ol Mickeys until you finally chickened out!
