I bet Administrator Patrick can handle it if someone does the photo-chop.
I would guess that we are a democracy here and would need some kind of vote.

I like the red but, it's a model nobody has. The current logo at least is a "production" unit. I guess I'm saying I really don't have a preference, and I will go with the majority.

I say we add an 06-07 Monte myself.

Speaking of which, I got this email regarding the hood for 00-05 models.
Hi,
If I had 20 commitments I would tool it up:)

Ohh don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with my Intimidator. That hood just improves its awesomeness and brings out the Intimidator name rather than the bland hood.

With 4,000 '04 Intimidator SS's made, it must be one of the higher production speciality cars that has been made, all being almost identical, all black, except for a handful of options, like heated seats, drivers side impact airbag (rare), sunroof, and ? Mine is #3599.
I'm guessing that there are more '04 Intimidators than any ONE special Monte made. Popular car. More than any of the other late model tribute cars.
Anyone got #'s?

I was thinking about the logo would it be possible to have one from every Gen next to each other With the highest trim package of that Gen?
Just a thought

I've seen that on other forums for other makes and models of cars. It's a cool idea as long as there's not too many generations. With Monte's only having 6 or 7 generations, it shouldn't be a problem only having 6 or 7 cars in the pic. Only problem I see, is the fact that there are so many "specialty" editions (i.e. Intimidator, Tony Stewart edition, and so on). Do you include all the specialty editions in the pic too? If so, then you're talking a dozon or more cars in one pic.
I like the idea of having 6 cars in the pic. One car from each generation.

I think they listed it just because they stuffed the V8 into it after so many years. I don't think it's limited production car. Don't limited edition cars come only a certain way? i.e. 1 color, special badging, that sort of thing?

I dont think the SS is a special edition like the Intimidators or the Tony stewarts, or anything like that. I think the logo we have is just fine. The
Perhaps changing the checker background into something else would be nice.

As far as I know, a limited production car doesn't necessarily need any certificates or special stickers. For example: Only a certain number of 1957 Chevy BelAir's were made with engine "x". None of these vehicles came with a certificate of authenticity. The VIN number and the option codes located on the car tell whether the car you're looking at was produced with engine "x" or engine "y".
If you're looking to keep your SS model as a potential collector's item, the VIN and option codes sticker tells all the info.
