Merry Christmas to one and all!! I hope you all got everything you asked for and got to spend this day with family and friends.
We went over the mountain (Mt. Hood) to my in-laws, who live in central Oregon. Snowing hard on the way over and the way back. Rigs were sliding all over the place, but we plowed on through safely, (thank goodness).
No pics of snow, but I thought you may enjoy these. My in-laws live up above Lake Billy Chinook and Lake Simtustus (good size lakes) and these guys visit every morning and night. There were 2 herds, the first had 10 that come to eat and shortly after, the second herd of 11 came for their Christmas breakfast but I only took the pic of the big guy in that herd. What beautiful and gentle creatures they are!

Your probably right, but try telling that to all those people who live in that area. It's a retirement community. Those deer will never starve, that's for sure. Although you don't see as many of them in the summer months.

Nice pictures.

We used to have a few of them come in our back yard. But that was a while ago.

It used to be every single night when I came home from work there were at least 5 waiting to cross the road in to the front yard of a woman house I go to Church with.

And I see a few every now & then around the wildlife preserve I drive past every day. On the 23 & 24 I saw this one that didn't act one bit scared of cars or humans. He stood at the edge of the road watching me drive (slowly) past.

Once my g/f and I were coming back from a little shopping trip in my white '86 LS Monte. Several deer in this field with one of them watching us drive past. He knew a good car when he saw one.
