I have recently purchased a 1987 MC SS Areocoup. It has low, low miles, but is in need of restoration. The paint and interior is badly faded. But there is lots of help to correct that, and I am in the process.

I would like to get a reproduction window sticker that would have come with this car originally.

Anyone know how to find the original dealer?

What sources are available to providing reporduction services like this?

The following is from Chevrolet's Customer Assistance Center letter to 04 Intimidator:

quote:

If you would like a duplicate window sticker Triple A Enterprises can provide window stickers ranging back to 1959 for passenger cars only. Exceptions to this include 1981 to current model Corvettes and all Cadillac models excluding the Allante (window stickers are available for the Allante). For the Corvette, use such resources as the Corvette Museum directly).

Hope this helps.  Are you intending to restore the car to showroom condition?  Just curious.

not sure if they still do it for this year or not. I know with the Tri 5 chevy you can call G.M. cust. service with the vin number of the car and it will send you all kinds of specs and data on the car. And also will decode the vin for you.

But i know that a frend of mine said you can call them and see if they can run the vin for you to tell you what dealer orderd that car also.
worht a shot either way. the packet they send takes forever I think the make the papar before they send it out. but worth the wait if your wanting more info on those cars etc..
