for those of you that know me know that about 6 months ago my grandmother was diagnosed with "inoperable extensive small cell cancer" of the entire upper torso.it went into remission around august and we thought it was over. well shes been sick lately and today we finally found out why, her cancer has returned even worse then the first time. so i might not be around much for a while. i seriously dont think i can handle this again so just keep my family in your prayers we'll be needing them

Chris, I am so sorry to hear this.
Don't worry about the web site or your car. Keep your attention on your grandma. She needs you more then we do right now.
Please tell her we're keeping her in our Prayers.

Chris, again I am sorry to read your post about the news
of your grandmother
You have to stay strong for her with hope/faith, & prayers.
We don't like to think about sickness, or that everyone's
journey comes to a human end, but our spirit will live forever.
Please remember that we are your
Monte Carlo family.
When you feel the need to escape the pressures that
you are enduring, please visit your friends at the MCF. I think
it's a great place to escape the pressures that we confront each day.
I grew up surrounded by the elderly, and I've witnessed their
pains & suffering of their illness. It's sad, but it's real, it's life.
I think it's a reminder to all, that our journey's do come to
an end. That is why we should all learn to live to it's fullest.
I pray that your grandmother has good doctors to ease
her pains. I pray that you stay strong, just not for your
grandmother, but for yourself. You can't be there for
your grandmother, `if you are not there for yourself.
I shall keep you, & your grandmother
in my prayers to the
SuperDude
of `all.
`amen,
Space

ok well heres the final word, the cancer came back so badly that there is no hope, IF the chemo and radiation works to absolute perfection she has 3-6 months no if's ands or buts. we've already taken care of the final resting place and all that. now we just keep her medcated so she isnt in pain nonstop and can at least live the little bit of the rest of her life without nonstop pain

Wow. Very sorry to hear that your grandmother has taken a turn for the worse. It's been unbelievably busy the past few days, and I've only been able to spend a couple minutes (literally) on here in the past few days. So I'm only now catching up on all the posts.
I know what a rough time you've been having lately, and I've been keeping you and your grandmother in my prayers constantly. I have gone through the whole ordeal of losing family and friends to cancer. It's a very painful process for both (in different ways), the patient and the family. It hurts to watch your loved one(s) in pain, and in failing health. But now is the time your grandmother needs you to remain strong. Try to make peace with, and accept that what is happening is now out of your hands, and in the hands of God. Try to take comfort that her pain and suffering will be over, and try to remember all the good times you shared with her. Don't be afraid to share funny stories involving her, with family and friends. It helps to ease the pain.

That's sad news. Rest assured you'll be remembered in out Prayers. I hope this isn't a prolonged, painful experience for her. She'll be better off in the arms of Our Lord rather than suffering each day.
God be with you,

Chris, I am SO sorry you have to go through all of this with your Grandmother and now your Mother. Both myself and LadyT will be praying for you AND all of your family, that they may be comforted. I pray that your Grandmother is right with God, and her journey to the other side will be as painless as possible, not just for her, but for ALL of your family.
The one thing I have found through my hard times, and there has been many, is "that which doesn't kill you, makes you stronger".
May God bless you and your family in this new year.
Chris, sorry ot read about your mother. Please take care. With so many Praying for your family remember.........There is strength in numbers.
