Hello all, i am the newest monte carlo owener here!
It started with a chevy, and ended with a chevy!
I traded a 2001 malibue that had 135k and tranny problems for a 95 celica gt 5 speed, 190k on body...and 90k on motor....
did full exhaust...header no cat 2 1/4 back, intake, hotwires, and a new excedy clutch....stock 135 hp...after all that 136.
no power gain at all...
then i found a 96 ls with the 34 kit, 17" rims" and full exhaust....160 on body, and 100k on motor...
slot and drilled rotors, clean as a whistle....tinted 20% included....
and it was white...every can i have had was white, so when i seen it i was like time for a big boy car....
runs great, cold ac.....only thing, when parked on a hill....hard to start if tank is low...
and shifts good, all for the exeption that i floored it from a stop and when it should have gone into 2nd, it revved high and wouldnt shift...
when i let off the gas everything went back to normal....havent dont it since...
whats that sound like?
