Hey all,
Still have the Monte.
But had some one throw a 1949 ford under my nose for a deal even i could not pass up .
So i have a new toy to build and get going here real soon Just have to get to the new place to do it.
the guy is holding it for me till i can put it in my gradge. but i have to litterly put it togeather.
also came with a 302 and a c-4 tranny for the truck and the original motor .
But i need ot find a running bord for the right side of it.
SO if any of you know where to find the part let me know also if you know any info about it PLEASE LET ME KNOW~!!!!
Im flying blind right now so im doing alot of cleanning first i guess. once i get the body work done i will start looking in to the frame and the front and rear of it. thinking of a mustang 2 front end and a 9" rear end in it.
it is just enough there to make it nice but to far gone to go back to factory stock with it . so the lead foot thinking is taking over LOL
here is a pic of one i found on the net THIS IS NOT MINE!!

Well.. Be honest with ya.. Id give up some brand loyalty for a truck of that age, if the price was right.
Mickey,
What's up buddy?
The Furd tr sounds cool. A guy I know has a '56 that everyone loves.
Do like all the other Furd guys do and shove a small block Chevy engine under the hood of the new toy. Those Furd guys know a good engine. That's why all us Chevy guys can't find any Chevy engines. All the Furd guys have them. (hahahaha)
