hey war path those lights are easy to install and cheap
I have mine hooked in to teh cig. lighter oh i mean the power port in the council.
Verry eas to get to and even easier to hook up . I have mine help in place with some black zip ties incase i have to move it out of the way i just cut them and it come out.
Not to mention anymore you can find them cheap in several colors.
But you can alos look at Wal-mart and see if you can find the lights for running borads they are only about 6" long and yu just add power and ground and be done with them.

mickey
6/7/2005 2:30:27 PM
yeah i think it would ahve been more like 2.00 and we could have one under the hood to I hate nt having a light under there at all.
So i have added some lights unde rit but due to it being in tehshows i added some LEDS under there.
but i cheated on them and found some on Ebay that had dubbel sided tape on themand used them you cant see they are there and i put the switch real ow on teh fender wheel and used the hook up under there to the bat.

I don't know, I'd call around if I were you. I had never heard of True Flow until I moved up here to Portland. I was shopping for my dad's birthday gifts and I ended up at an auto part store down the street from me that's open 24hrs and I stumbled on it. I did some research and found that they are great filters, they filter noticeably better than K&N, cost a little less and are lifetime just as well.

i think K&N is over rated and over priced, i was even told by mr. goodwrench not to us anything
you have to add oil to

well, using the oil isn't a bad thing, unless you saturate it like a madman, then it can cause problems.

they ahve been having issues with folks using to much oil on them for years . wha thapens is it will coat the map sensor and then it will throw codes and cause your car to act up
i belive K&N are to expensive but they arent wen you think of how much he cost of a paper filter is compared to one you can rins out an reuse.not t mention f yo are a tree hugger these are better for our enviroment as it usees less of thm in the long run.
but they do actually flow better air threw them then the paper filters.
I was actually looking for the true blue one from Acel but they didnt have it in stock and i needed to do some thing fast before the car was shipped. so i took what i could find over here my car is one of 12 and they dont cary tomany parts for it.
the only thing i have going for me is the new S.P cars are the impala and the used the same roters and calipers and pads as mine
and there are tons of camarows here so i might be abel to upgrade my brakes and do that mod witch i would love to do anyway or more stopping power for the high sppeds here

true flow filters have been around for years for bikes but they tend to not like getting dirty t much if you ge some kind o chemical on them they will start to thrwo peices of foam threw your motor belive me this is not a good thing.
that is why i will nevr use a edelbrok honey comb filter again. it ruined my carb on the old car.
so now if i had one it would be for show only

They don't like getting dirty? OK, I don't know of a filter that does. If it gets dirt trapped in it, the less air can flow through it, simple enough. I guess that's where regular maintenance comes in.
I don't know of any chemicals that will be contaminating my filter being that it's in the airbox, so I guess that's a non issue too.

hey it is completly up to you what you want to put in or on your car.
but just because it is in a air box dont mean you wont get nothing in to it that wont cuse it to become damaged.
but agian it is up to you. it is your car you drive it .

I know it's completely up to me, that was never in question
In my 15 years of driving, I have never once found my air filter to be damaged. And I've had short ram intakes, cold air intakes with a cone filter fully exposed inside the fenderwell, never once has a filter gotten damaged. That being said, I'd prolly hit the lottery before I got a damged filter in the stock air box.
