exactly what i was thinking... personally i dont like a lot of tire...i'd rather have 20's or 22's...but 22's put the car too high i think...
i think 20's then lowering 1.5" would look really good :)

I agree 100%
I think the 20's are the perfect size wheel for the size of the Monte. If it weren't my "family trip" car, I'd definitely go the 20" and lowered route. But it's all good, i'm sure the 18's will look sweet when lowered the same amount.

Hey bro, what size tires did you go with? When I get my 18's i'm gonna get 225-45-18

I think your rims are great! Like the body kit too. I drive a lot and went with 18s as well, same reasons.
What size and kind of tires ya got? Are you happy with them?

Wayne...love the car. She looks so sweet in black with those chrome wheels. I had those same eagle wheels on my '94 camaro in 17". I've considered getting another set for my monte, but didn't know if I should. I want to do 18's...not to big on "big" wheels, I like the wheel to tire ratio of 18's and a 235/50/18 tire.
That's an ingenious install of your factory radio. Does that enable you to retain functionality of your factory chimes and Onstar? If so, I have found new inspiration. I was hoping for more details on your cardomain site about the setup, but I guess I just have to ask you. I want to upgrade my factory radio, but I want to keep functionality of all my factory options without buying a bunch of addon adaptors. The HU I was looing at is the
Alpine IVA-W200
The addon adaptors are limited, so I would lose a few options. An Onstar adaptor is not available.
Thoughts?

My tires are P225/50/R18 - pretty satisfied - nice, comfortable ride

I want that kit sooooo bad but my duck hunting purchases have gotten in the way. Your car looks awesome!!! I would have gone with a little higher profile tire but it looks great.

i think you made a good choice with the 18's. for the most part, anything over 18 doesn;t look good on this car... but I have seen a coule 20's that did look nice.

Nice rims, im also debating on either going for some 20s or 18s to put on my 06. I think you made a good choice going with 18s, they sweet
