ok those you can get from the smae folks with your hood it is part f the induction kit they have to make those hoods functionabel

you get the and under the hood there is a peice that is etheir molded or bolted on to it to channel teh air from teh hood to the air box.
they were not to bad in price etheir.

I like the intakes w/the clear top too, especially since I'll be using a True Flow filter, the clear top will let me see when the filter gets dirty.

you might call them on it i belive they had them

If nothign else if you can get a good shot of it and it is flat. Make it

nothing more then a small sheet of Lexan would work . But use lexan not plexie glass

Lexan will bend and is more scratch resestant. So if by chance somethign hits it is will bounce not break

I would liek to find a clear engin cover for the 3800. so i can not feel so bad about buying thecrome valve covers or strips for mine then covering them up.

but have to wait to see what i can come up with on that one

If you want to use the Thrasher box with MPD-Inc's Ramair hood and Plenum you'll have to drill a hole in the top of the Thrasher box. Here's a pic to show you what it looks like.

I have heard from others elsewhere that do not like the thrasher CIA's, have you been happy with your's CMC?

I gutted my factory box but I would like to try a true CIA, I have been torn between the speedbuilt fenderwell or the thrasher CIA kits. The thrasher would look much nicer.

Well when I had my Thrasher box I loved it. It looked awesome, and even though it's not a true Cold Air Induction setup it is much better than the stock box in that it gets the filter out of an ugly black box that has about a 2 1/2' hole to let air in. Also it's great for those that want the ramair effect at the track. Just pop out the drivers headlight and it's a straight path to the filter.

I actually still have my Trasher box but don't have much use for it with the CSC setup.

As for the coil packs I'm running, I'm using the MSD coil packs. It's basically only for looks, I could've gone the painting route but didn't want the gloss of paint on my coils, that and having the letters MSD on your coils just looks cool, lol. But yeah, it's ok to paint the coils, or just about anything else under the hood. The stock coils will be good for as much power just about anyone could concievably want.
