MY INTERIOR MAKES MY INSIDE REALLY STAND OUT, MY TRUNK LID COVER MAKES THE TRUNK STAND OUT, THE COLD AIR INTAKE MAKES THE ENGINE LOOK GOOD, MY LED TAIL LIGHTS REALLY STAND OUT AT NIGHT, THEY GET BRIGHT, MY REFLECTIVE STRIPES AND DECALS MAKE MY CAR STAND OUT, I GET SOME COOL COMPLIMENTS ON THE ROAD WHEN I AM AT A STOP SIGN, LIKE WHERE DID YOU GET THE AUTOBOT DECAL? MY WINDSHILED DECAL TO REPRESENT MY FAVORITE NASCAR TEAM GIVES THE STRIPES THE RACING THEME. MORE TO COME IN THE FUTURE, NOT DONE YET.

This little 5'2 gets out in shorts shorts and they take a double take to see what she is driving. They ask her how she can see over the steering wheel. Then they start talking about the car and how good it looks for being a 2002 with little over 34000 miles on it. So I guess she makes it stand out.
To me now the name and the stance it has is what makes it stand out for me.

I don't want to stand-out.
Around here ... the cops pick on the "Stand-out's"
I don't need a ticket and the surcharge to my insurance.

It stands out cuz it mine LOL
here I had some fun with the riflesman creed.
The Monte Man Creed:
This is my monte. There are many like it but this one is mine. My monte is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I master my life. My monte, without me is useless. Without my monte, I am useless. I must ride my monte true. I must drive faster than any enemy who is trying to pass me. I must pass him before he passes me. I will....
My monte and myself know that what counts in this war is not the gas we burn, the noise of our exhaust, nor the smoke we make. We know that it is the kills that count. We will kill...
My monte is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weakness, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its engine and its tranny. I will keep my monte clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other. We will...
Feel free to add to it. LOL

my dad used to know most of the riflemans creed... he knew it when he was in the coast guard. in his words "You better forget your Social Security Number before you forget your rifles serial number"

I beg to differ. I have had another Monte owner and a Blazer owner both tell pull up behind me and ask me how I like my LTZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! And yet another Trailblazer owner pulled up behind me to compliment me on my "Z." Each time their eyes sort of pop out and they have to readjust their vision to make sure that there really is a "Z" on my trunk.

hehe,
LA is one of those places that people seem to love or hate.. no inbetween for that place.
I forgot... my kind of straight pipes also make me stand out.
GPD, what about those Flowmasters do they make you stand out?
GPD, how many people have accused you of putting the LTZ badge from another car onto yours. In other words, how many people have accused you of having a fake LTZ?
All of us here know you're the real deal. Just wondering if there are some non-believers out there?

the non believers should look into it and realize the LTZ came iwth the dual tail pipes in the bumper thing while the LT did not... plus, if he was going to rebadge, why not go SS?

They are not as loud as people want to make them out to be. Some one told me it was because of the overhead cams or the VVT. They are very deep, mellow, enjoyable, and perfect for LA stop and go. Here is another shot of the very quiet cabin noise:

We have a lot of Malibu and Impala LTZ's around here so people know the Monte is rare but not fake.
