Wheels and Tires on - Updated pictures on pg2

18" Zinik Z24''''s with the Machined/Black face with a set of 245-45 General Exclaim''''s. Put them on back on the 12th and today was the first time I got ''''er washed and seen ''''em on a clean car and I just can''''t express how excited they make me everytime I see ''''em.

These are some pictures I took the other day, the car is filthy, parked in a gravel parking lot for 15 hours a day when I work and a light sprinkle makes a car look like poo. So these pictures aren''''t the greatest, I tried to hide the dust. I''''ll get some nicer pictures uploaded one of these days when I get it washed and it doesn''''t storm before I get the chance to take it out.

i relly like the rims... where did you get em. Looks good Garrett! How do those tires ride and how do they displace water? I know you were looking at Goodyear TripleTreads, does this tire compare at all? I bet they were a whole lot cheaper though. lol. I really like those rims though.

Got the wheels and everything off of tirerack.com, arrived mounted and balanced so I just had to put them on. As for the ride quality, it''s soo much better than what I had on, but then again those Blizzaks or whatever were about two inches shorter in the sidewall and it''s been awhile since I drove on the stock tires. In my mind I''d say they ride quite a bit better than stock.

I was still going to get the TripleTreads, only a slight problem with that, they didn''t have ''em in the size I needed :( They''ve displaced what water I''ve driven in so far just fine.


Hopefully I''ll get the chance to take the car out and get it washed and get some new pictures taken this weekend.

Oh I''ve got a nice enough camera, Panasonic DMC-LZ7. Those are just the raw images taken around sunset that have been shrunken down.

I''m hoping that tomorrow isn''t too windy out and I''ll take ''er out to get some nice shots and fix myself up a new sig.


I think the nicest thing is that I''m rolling on tires that are much much closer to the original diameter and they ride soo much better now.

I''m waiting for the new pictures. Lol.

I would paint the Brake Calipers Black to match the black in your rims, When you need new brakes later down the road get some slotted drilled performance breaks, I like the R1 Brakes on ebay, not a bad price for all four and pads for around $200.00

Thanks guys, sorry it''s taken so long it''s hard to keep the car clean living on a gravel road. Something has managed to come up everytime I get a chance, but anyway here are what I did manage to get taken.

Once I get about 3k extra cash to spend I''ll get my stripes painted and the bottom of the bumpers and the side skirt all painted a gloss black, I plan on having that tie in with the wheels nicely.

they look better now than tehy did in the ohter pictures :)

Those look great! My personal preference is an 18 inch rim. Anything larger just looks cartoonish.

Well working out at the mine makes me some decent cash and provided I don''t go too crazy with buying stuff I should have enough at the end of the summer to pay for my house and food during the school year.

3.8L99, as for those stocks I''m not sure. Just about a week before putting those on I managed to hit a bump following a pilot car, hit it hard enough (even though I was going slower than he was) to damaged the inside lip around the bead, not too bad but something I definitely want to get fixed. I need to call the Sheriff sometime or the WYDOT and see if I can''t get them to talk to the company that was doing the construction (someone else took over recently) and find out if I can''t get reimbursed. I planned on keeping them for the winter and they still have my winter tires on them. If you still want them pm me.

I just realized that I forgot to remove those mud flaps when I put them on. I can''t stand flaps that are narrower then the tires, plus those have been looking like crap for awhile now.

Sorry Space, forgot to answer you earlier... But yeah, work is long and the days (or nights) that I''m working seem to take forever and yet it seems like I''ve only been out there for a week or two (almost 2 months now) The quad hasn''t gotten the time on it that I''d like and I still plan on ordering some new plastic for it sometime and then I''ll have to decide if I want to keep it or see what I can get as an upgrade. Either way it should be street legal by next week and then I''ll send my tails off to get tinted. What, did you give up on your 7.8k posts that you had with your other account?
