I need to change the starter on a friends 99 Monte with the 3.8 and have been told it''s under the car, and another parts store said it''s on top by the tranny.... It''s been about 15 years since i had to do this but remember its not a tuff job, but i looked around the engine bay and really can''t see it...any help would be very much appreciated. And I drive a ''06 with the 5.3 V8.... and a WARANTEE so I don''t have to do this shit anymore....
