My mother decided she needed a new washer/dryer set so she offered to give us the old dryer. (the washer wasn't worth taking)
Since our basement steps are only so wide and the dryer is wider I decided to try and take the back off of it so we could get it down the steps. WRONG! Big mistake here.
Got the top loose, pulled out this one screw in the back and I hear the tub inside drop. (not good) So I decide I'll just lift the top up, stick my hand inside and move the tub so I can get this needed screw back in (here's where the problem crops up)
The lid decides to fall just as I stick my hand under it and slices the back of my hand. AAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!
I don't think it's deep enough for stitches, but it's a large enough cut it bled like a stuck pig. It's more of a slicing cut then a deep one.
Good thing my g/f buys neosporane and bandaids by the truck load. Wonder what she's trying to tell me?????????
And so much for getting the dryer out of the garage and down the basement steps any time in the next 5 days. :(

im sorry to hear that rj d00d but it'll get better. go make ur gf move it now haha
OUCH! Did you kick a nice big dent into the dryer and teach it a lesson? I would have been tempted to.
Those kind of cuts bite! Where I work, we're getting those kind of cuts a lot. I know I've gotten my share. Keeps the band aid company in business. What bothers me is when it starts to heal, then re-opens on ya. Ouch....again.
Hope your hand gets better quick, and don't get any grease and oil in it from working on your Monte. Better yet, don't bleed on the Monte.
BTW Space......Your post sounded wrong on so many levels. Funny though!

What hurts worse is the night after you've done something like this cause then it starts to throb and it's all you can think about. forget trying to sleep unless you take like 5 Advil or a Darvocet.

Now you know why my g/f Deb carries neosporin and bandaids where ever we go.
