Ok, so awhile back my oil dipstick got damaged when my front exhaust manifold was getting changed out. The handle is broken where it turns into the plug with the o-ring. The plug still keeps the tube plugged and doesnt come off the stick which is great, but I need an adhesive that is safe and wont melt to fix it. Or, if anyone knows the oem part number so I can try to find a new dipstick. All I can find are the universal and v8 chevy dipsticks, which are twice the size.

Thats probably gonna be a dealer part. Go to the nearest chevy dealer parts department and pick one up. All they need is your vehicle model and engine. It would also help to take your old dipstick in just so you can check that they gave you the correct part.
