Depends what state you are in. Most places you go to get it tinted will be able to tell you local regulations. Here a website with some of the regulations, not totally sure on their accuracy. It was accurate for Missouri. http://home.pcisys.net/~bpc/auto_law/tint/

Does anyone know what happens if you accidentally roll your window(s) down right after your window tint is installed? I'm just wondering because I just had my windows tinted today and was told to wait at least three days to roll them down and what do I do? I, without thinking, roll the driver's side down after about six hours from installation. It didn't seem to hurt anything, but I'm just hoping I won't have problems with it in the future now.

Most places will say it void's your warranty, not really sure how they proved thats what happened. I was told 5 days when I had mine done. Basically what one guy told me is sometimes if you do it too soon your window goes down but the tint stays up. But I'm not really sure.

Hey Scooze,
How about posting a pic or two of your Monte with its new window tint.

Would love to see how it turned out as I've been thinking of doing it my self.

I will try in two weeks at the most. I'm thinking about darkening my back windows down to 5% and keeping the front ones at 35%. Right now they are all 35%.
