HP @ home, Dell for work. No problems at home with the usual minor stuff you would expect at work...

I have an ancient Compaq Presario, I think it's the 5000 series, 700mhz

I bought my kids a HP Pavillion 2.2ghz

How much can you get an AMD Athlon 64 3500 cpu for? If you can get good prices on stuff, I may go through you to get the parts for my build.

I used to have a Compaq Presario before I started changing everything in it. Here are the specs of it
2.19 GHz AMD Athlon 64 3500
2 GB DDR RAM
200 GB Hardrive
ATi Xtasy X300 SE Graphics Card
Dual Layer DVD-R/RW drive
CD-R/RW drive
Painted the case all black

I play alot of computer games so thats why i've upgraded so much. It has been a really good computer overall. I personally don't like Dell because there prices are too high for what you get. What I did was just bought a very low price Compaq and then changed alot of stuff to make it faster which overall is alot cheaper than buying one with all that stuff on it.
I also have a Toshiba laptop which has been really good.
