I want to install an amp and subs in a 2005 Monte Carlo SS. I already have both. Does anyone know if the factory stereo has preouts?

like mentioned above, no preouts on the factory deck. You're gonna have to either use a high to low converter or replace the factory head unit. Using the converter method will work, but the amp will have to work that much harder to produce the same output.
