ORIGINAL: SoCalSS I'm pretty sure they are 4s. why? in the doors? No way. Cause, I wanted to install my front components, but was told they were 5.25's. I have 6.5" components. So I was gonna sell em and get some 5.25's. Some tool on another board who thinks he's the worlds most knowledgeable installer since he works for Circuit City, told me that they're 6.5's. So I went ahead and pulled the panel off, took the speaker out and went to put mine it, it's only a 5.25 in there! I was pissed, but since I had the panel off, and I have skills, I went ahead and modded the speaker mounting plate to get my 6.5's to fit. Not an easy task only with a lighter, hacksaw blade and a box cutter at your disposal, but I made it happen!

I've never looked at them myself, when I had my system done, I had it all professionally installed. That's what mine had, and they were components too, which is pretty cool. Just call me McGyver, I can make it happen when it looks impossible.
