You cant even get a 06 or 07 Monte Carlo booklet at the dealer
The other day when I was waiting on mine to be serviced I walked in the show room and they had posters up, every model on the show room floor
EXPECT FOR THE MONTE...... NOT ONE POSTER, NOT ONE CAR ON THE SHOW ROOM FLOOR,
In fact they only had one 07 Monte on the lot.....
What a shame.....
Impala is a great family car..... IT IS NOT A SPORTS CAR

1979 white with red landau top, all red int. w/ buckets and console shift. 305 small block with stock rear end, new suspension.  I love the front end of this car, but I'm not gonna lie, for me 4th gen monte's are where its at.  I would love one, but hey, this is better than a prelude.

Really??  I have the '06 and '07 booklets at home..  my dealer here has them...  and has 1 posterboard of a Monte on the wall...

here's where you can get all of the "Official" GM Monte Carlo posters:

http://www.gmphotostore.com/products.asp?dept=1201

And there's a limited edition Team Monte Carlo poster, with all the Nascar Monte's...

Look at that the team poster..... that poster was done in 2000-2001 before Earnhardt dead....

Acording to my dealer they are no pushing the Monte because the demand for her is not there....
I think if Chevy would read what people are asking for the Monte Carlo would have a long life...
Also think what NASCAR is doing..... Dodge, Ford and Toyota all run 4 door sedans, According
to NASCAR the Monte has the upper hand with the best aero dynamtic car out there....
So to make it more of an even playing field Chevy agreed to use the Impala for NASCAR Car Of Tomorrow
(COT in Nascar terms).
The Monte has set many records in Nascar. No other car company can come close.... Do the math, add it up
and see what you come up with....

As far as getting a booklet, I had to order my 06. I even downloaded it off line before I started dealing with the dealer
to buy the car...
