froim what i have seen of the 95 montes you will need to get a kit for the dash, a wireing harness is alway a much easier and better thing to do then spliceing wires if you dont have to as far as taking the dash apart if you have a auto manula on your car it will tell you but what i have read they have some hidden screws in the glov box, fuse box,and under the dash by the drivers seat so you can look there then it is a matter of poping the spring clip off and manipulating it out of the way to get it around everythign to remave it. then you can gain acsess to the stereo to remove or replace it. for the most part it is not to tuff to put the stereo in its self just plug and play if you get the harness for the car. but when you go get it find out from the stereo shop if you have to retain your stock head unit so that you dont lose fetures on your car. if you have the stereo controlls on the sterring wheel then you can find adaptors for them to work also. Good luck
