just found this site - 11/25/2006 9:17:22 PM    ziggy 87   Posts: 6 Joined: 11/25/2006 Status: offline Hi, i am from the Chicago suburbs and own a 1987 Monte Carlo SS. I bought the car in 1991 and did a engine swap a year later, I dropped in a 350 ZZ1 crate motor from GM. My friend built a TH350 trans with a 3500 stall, and i had a 12 bolt with 373 gears put in. I have added an MSD ignition and the exhaust is a 2 1/2 inch w/h-pipe and Flowmaster super 40 mufflers. I have Weld drag stars and 10 inch tires in the rear and a fiberglass cowl hood.
