Yesterday I seen a Saleen S7 on the road, well, it was parked, but it was someone's personal vehicle, not a show queen. I snapped a few pics of it, I'll post em up tomorrow so you can see what im talking about.

I don' t know if any of you have, but when I go in to the dealer tomorrow, im gonna ask them about the DRL's. I'll let you know what they say. I put yellow highbeam bulbs in there, so now at least they look cool when they're on.

I simply moved the photo sensor to a dark place under the dash, now when I want the DLR's to go away I put on the parking lights. Of course your dash and radio lights get a little dim but it's worth it to me.

My ride looks much better just running the parking lights and the fogs.

I asked my service writter about removing them and he said now way. But, I should have used it as a leverage tool before I signed on the dotted line.

The fact that some manufacturers act like this in regards to DRL's makes me despise them even more(the DRL's). It's bad enough that they are widely regarded as being proven to reduce accidents, when reality does not support such a claim. I have studied DRL's and the history of them and gotten into some major debates about them and thier effectiveness and it's amazing how brainwashed we are. If the facts were known about DRL's by most people, we wouldn't have the false sense of security the industry has sold us on by knowing that we have DRL's on our new car.
