Your check engine light comes on and stays on.....

Just move it from the dash to under the dash. Your DLR will be gone when you turn the parking lights on. The DLR's will still come on if the lights are turned in the off position.

do a serch for rocker switches on the net or at the radio shack online store and you can get a really nice one that will also allow you to have a smalll LED in it to show when it is on or off.

Now as you guys do this do me a favor and make a tech artical out of it so we all know what wirres to cut and where to put the switch LOL

In most states, it is illegal to drive w/parking lights on only. Just a FYI.

You really should learn to let go, it's therapeutic.

Finding a way to get rid of DRL's isn't "ricey", painting your dash, on the other hand.............

Nice find on the DRL thing, I guess

I don't like my DRL's as is cause it's the high beam run at low voltage which gives off a dingy looking light output. To solve that problem, I have ordered some Luminic JDM yellow high beam bulbs which come with a 1 year warranty, no questions asked. This will make the DRL's much more tolerable. Then comes the high output alternator to alleviate the possibility of disco lights once I get my system installed.
