hey folks i have been looking for a dash over lay for my car for a while to match the spped hut gugaes that Tav has he is goign to send me LOL
any way found a site that told me how to make them thought hey this would be great!

well there is a problem with this idea i own a 6th gen montecarlo and thier gugaes and hvac stuff is not flat it is contured so the site i found that told me how to make them wont work now ( Go figure)

what i am wondering is what kinds of things have you done to your hvac controlls and hear light switches that look nice?

for those who want to know how to make them they are pretty easy for a flat dash
take your off
scan them
then remove back ground color in your favorit editting program (photo shop works well)
then replace the colors that you want in them
print
cut out
laminate them
cout out what you need to put knobs over etc. so they will fit.
reasembel dash

that is really not that hard i have everything to do it here but the laminate and that is not to bad on price. but my dash is not flat AGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!
i am going to get this done if i have to air brush that damed thing .
any way have any of you done somethign like this? if so do you have some pic's of it?

so are you saying you really d ont like them? LMAO!!
did you get a shot of them before you put them in yet? or a after shot?

as far as the painting gose i have thought of that but i want to paint things like the HVAC stuff and painting ovver that is really tuff as l;ight has to pass threw it so you can see i.

i was hoping to make some but i dont see how i can with out doing them as a sticker but then you have to figure in the curves etc. to make them look right.

As far as the actual hard plastic and such i have figured i would end up painting them but i have to get my guges to get the pattren still so that i can make them match better then what i can draw. LOL
i cant draw flames to save my tail but can most other things.
go figure the one thing i need i cant draw lol
