For whatever reason, the forum won't allow you to copy and paste from your desk top. This frustrated the heck out of me more than once. Another trick I learned from a couple other members here, is this: To get the full sized pic in your post, upload the pic into your post as usual. This will give you either a thumbnail pic and an attachment link, or just the attachment link depending on whether or not you clicked the box to imbed the photo into your post. Click OK and post your message with the attachment. So far you will have your post, but not a large version of your pic. Click on the attachment link. This will open a new browser window with the large version of your pic. Right click on the large pic, and click copy. Go back to your post and click on edit. Then in the edit screen put the cursor where you want the large pic to go, and right click and paste the large pic into your edited post. When you're done, click OK to finish editting your post. You should now have your post with the large pic and the attachment link at the bottom. I should add, if you intend on putting pics in your replies, don't use Fast Reply. Use the Post Reply button under the last post in the thread. For whatever reason, posting pics doesn't always work in Fast Reply.

I like the polished look on those wheels. They go really well with the black car. I kinda wish the non-painted sections of my wheels had the polished look instead of the machined look. For re-sizing pics, if you have a photo program like photoshop, it's easy. There will be an image size option. I find an image size of 640x480 pixels to be a decent size. You also don't need to have high resolution pics here. Medium or better resolution pics will show up half decent here. Just keep in mind that there's a 250k maximum for pics uploaded in each post. If you don't have a photo editing program, MS Paint (or just Paint), pre-loaded in your computer with Windows, is capable of re-sizing pics too. But it's a bit involved. In Paint, open your picture file. Under the Edit menu, click on Select All. Then move your pointer to the bottom right corner of the pic until you get a symbol with two diagnal arrows. One arrow pointing up and to the left, the other pointing down and to the right. Click and hold on the bottom right corner of the pic. You can then shrink the picture down to the size of your choice. This will leave you with some white empty space around your picture. Use the select tool (dotted rectangle in the list of tools on the left side of the screen), and select just the area containing your picture (leave out the blank white space). Copy and paste your selection onto a new canvass, then save it. jpg and gif formats work best here. Of course, you can also do what a lot of others here do. Open a free account on photobucket.com and upload your original pics there. Then simply link the pics into your post from there. You won't have the file too large problem that way. To link a pic from another site, use the Add Image icon when making your post. VERY IMPORTANT HERE: when linking a pic from another site like photobucket. USE THE "DIRECT LINK". DO NOT USE THE "IMG CODE" LINK. The IMG code link will NOT work here. Because the letters [IMG] are in capital letters. This site only works with lower case letters [img]. CORRECT: WRONG: This is a very common mistake made by everyone when they first start here. Myself included. Hope this helps.
