i found one, too bad I paid 280 for it.  I use to work at an auto garage and they were closed the day I needed the part :(
How can I be sure the guy didnt hammer the bearing back into place?  Is it a common part to carry (hub assembly) that they would have it in stock?

yah, unless its something that requires a core you should always ask for your old parts back...just to make sure they didn't just clean up your old one...or tell you you needed one and didn't do anything with it
