What size speakers are in the doors, as well as the back?   Plus I want to hear what you guys have to say(or plan to get).  I think I'll stay with hifonics brand, but I don't know.

the fronts doors are 6.5"round
and the rears are 6x9"

as far as what to ge tthat is a matter of taste and money.
the infinity cappas are great and sound good in a monte also.
also the Bostons sound real good but not sure of them in a monte .
and rockford fallsgate subs are nice to.

hyphonics amps i have oen and love it. plant to get another one that is a bit bigger eventually but right now it is great.
I can hear it acrossed a parking lot so im happy but it is not going to win any D.B. Drags with the setup i have right now.

But then i am actually going for the clarity not the base. but i tend to like it base heavy to.

Its all going to depend on what you plan to do with the sound to choose 2 or 3 way.  If you are just swapping speakers, then 3 way.  If you are going all out to add tweeters and subs, then 2 way.

As mentioned above, the rears are 6x9's, the fronts i'm not so sure are 6.5's because that's what I have in there right now and I had to modify the bucket the speaker is bolted into in order to get them to fit.

But anyways, I'd stay away from HiFonics speakers, they're nothing to brag about and much better can be had for a few more dollars. Infinity and Boston Acoustics are nice choices, but don't overlook Alpine, Rainbow Audio, and CDT Audio. I'd go with a nice set of components for the front and some 3way 6x9's for the back.
