That lever that tilts the steering wheel.  Can that come out?  You see Its keeping me from removing the the neck of the steering wheel. So I can install this

I've been holding this off for a year or so.

the tilt lever pulls straight out horizontally to the left.  and it comes out hard, usually i'll have to take a large flat bladed screwdriver behind it and twist the screwdriver to pry it out.

Thanks.for the info.  I tried it, and it come out. now all I need is sometime, on one of my days off.
