My car's on there. I'm currently #43. Hope to be a lot quicker with my new cam. Can't wait for this weekend to kick the tires and light the fires.

Hi Dustin, I watched your Awesome/Fast Monte on U-Tube. I had to use my friend's computer to see it...WoW nice : ), Mine is to slow to watch vid's : ( Keep the MCF informed and post your future runs : ) If you know of any other sites that post 1/4 times...please post them on the MCF If I ever get some time `off & have the money, I will go up to the Orlando track and run/record mine : ) I can't wait to get valid times on a 3.9L. Thanks again for sharing & Good Luck for MOTM.

ORIGINAL: wiz kidd as soon as i get my pulley on i will go to the track to test it out...i'm kina curious as to how it would do...i've never done track racing before...should be fun... wonder what i'd run with : downpipe, highflow cat, no ubend, no resonator k&n cold air intake ngk iridium plugs 1 range colder 180 stat 3.4" pulley i will probalby get the plug in computer for it when i get some more moola for it :) any gueses?? Mod Wiz, with everything you've done to you Monte & being in the High Performance Parts Business, plus with your talented ability to jump `off the line fast : ). I think that your Monte should run in the 13 -teens and 99+MPH in a 1/4 mile. MEMBERS, what do U think ? (I posted this b-4, but it shows what Car & Driver reported on a 3.8 SC) I found the below test of a 3.8 SuperCharged 240 HP Monte Carlo Obviously, the biggest upgrade is what lurks under the hood—a Supercharged version of GM’s 3800 Series II pushrod V-6, which makes 240 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 280 pound-feet of torque at 3600 and is paired with a beefier four-speed auto. Compared with the standard SS, that’s an upgrade of 40 horsepower and 55 pound-feet. At the track, the Monte’s newfound power and chassis enhancements were evident. We ripped off 0 to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds and the quarter-mile in 15.1 at 93 mph, 2.1 and 1.5 seconds quicker, respectively, than the numbers put up by a standard SS 3.8 (“Low-Impact Sports,” September 2002). Click below 4 Complete Test I still think `Space could beat you......Maybe with a baseball bat : ) LOL

Should be low 14's... 14.3ish.
