Try a little silicone grease on the plug boots when you re-install them.It makes them much easier to remove the next time and helps to waterproof them.

i belive by doing this way you wont have to take off the Alt. bracket etc,.,,, Might be wrong but thought i had heard it tha tyou would not have to take anythign off the motor by doign it this way,.

Also when ya put them back on used a small amount of Never cease to keep it from happening again

yah, thats a good idea in the gm cars, put some anitsease on the plugs...just makes it easier next time...

i've heard a lot of people come into my store @ 160, 000 km and changing their plugs for the first time and they can't get them out...because gm says their plugs last that long...but they dont...maybe 100,000km but definetely not 160,000km...

I have done that since the first car i have owned. actually learned it from my G-Father when he owned the station and i wouldhelp him do cars there. he hated tryign to fight the boots off of the cars that would come back so he requested us to do this so he didnt bust his knuckels up trying to get them off.

yah and it would probably make a huge difference on our car's seing as though its already hard enough to do the back 3..lol..dont need any more difficulties
