RE: who would win? - 6/6/2007 10:24:08 PM    Cowboy6622 Posts: 3191 Joined: 6/6/2007 Status: offline I beat an 02 V6 Mustang.  However, a few things must factor into this. 1.  He was a 16 year old who had just recieved his license the previous week 2.  He had flowmaster mufflers put on.  Stock they are 2.5", his are 3.5" from the manifold back with 3" tips.  He basically shot himself.  He lost probably 25-30 lbs-ft of torque.  He says he's going to get that fixed, putting 2.5" MAC system on it.  O well.  He's already looking at throttle body, retuned computers, chips, intake systems, and the etc. for it.  He just can't stand it.  I beat him in a hlaf mile race by about 10 car lengths.  (in reply to z34phoenix) Post #: 5

RE: who would win? - 7/13/2007 7:53:43 PM    Cowboy6622 Posts: 3191 Joined: 6/6/2007 Status: offline well it wasn't just that this guy lost... he also claimed he was down 2 cylinders.... he called me and told me this and said "i didn't want to say that with everybdoy watching (he had like 9 pepole there to watch me lose) because you might have been having problems to"  to which i simply responded "i was down 3 cylinders...  excuses excuses excuses.  over the next week he fed me some... from my car being more aerodynamic to traction control failures....
