I have an 04 SS Intimidator and want to upgrade the struts and springs
I found a great price on KYB AGX adjustable struts and an Eibach pro kit
but they are for all except when equipped with "Special handling package"
Are all Intimidators equipped with this suspension , if not, how can I tell?
The car handles well but too soft. Anybody have any ideas? Any help
would be appreciated

Com'on guys, someone out there had to have changed the struts on their Intimidator
do the aftermarket struts fit these cars or do I have to go to the stealership for struts
that still won't handle great

I am wondering the same thing. Do the Intimidators already have an upgraded suspension?

I believe all Intimidators came with the special handling package
you can check on the drivers door build tag for the FE4 suspension code
FE2 would be the standard suspension
I believe the FE4 comes with the tubular trailing arms but not sure what
the differences on the springs and struts are
The anti roll bars are also larger but not sure of the diameters (the front may be hollow)

OK, Just got an E-mail from the W Body Store, they say that the suspension parts, spring, struts
sway bars etc., are the same size for fitment, the difference is valving, spring rates etc,
which are the things we want to change anyway, so it's off to the toy store

OK finally got the AGX struts, Eibach lowering springs and all the kyb mounting bits, got it installed, and aligned, what a difference in handling, just cant wait till GMPP finally ships the handling upgrade kit. Still rides good too. so far so good, and the parts do fit the cars with spec. handling package
