So, I used to own a 2003 Grand Prix and had ordered sway bars from ZZPerformance for it. I never got the chance to put them on and I traded it in for an 06 Monte Carlo LT3. I figured it was the same frame, so there might be a chance they would fit without any real clearance issues. Sure enough those bad boys mated up and now  I have a suspension that doesn't remind me of my grandfather's Cadillac. I figured all you guys with 06's and 07's would like to know that there are sway bars for you!

Great info.  Info like this needs to go into the DIY section.

We really don't use that section like we ought to.

Did they mate up with out any problems? Clearance, fitment anything like that? Did they come with the hardware to install 'em, and if so did that all match up as well?

I''m going to ask a dumb question, but I need to know.  What is a sway bar and what is the benefit of adding them to the car?

We design and manufacture sway bars for several applications. We are working on a new kit for the W-Bodies as we speak. That being said to answer your question directly you can view some of our literature below to explain it completely.

Here is a link to us testing a set on an Impala SS

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yi4xEZTg5YQ

what you are looking for is how flat the car runs in the corner and rolls through it. if you look at other cars racing (on other videos) and cornering you will see the front end and sides of the car diving/swaying and this unevenly throws weight around instead of evenly distributing it. Flat is fast!
