I''m a total newbie when it comes to scanners so I need help. Is this the kind I want? The reason I''m looking is my next mod will be a smaller pulley and everything I''ve read here recommends a scanner to check for KR.

well ive never even heard of that scanner and i didnt read anywhere that it has the ability to reprogram your pcm...i know its expensive but i would suggest an hp tuner...its costly but there are so many things u can do with it...or send ur pcm to a company like zzp performance and have them retune it

ZZP did my PCM. A search of this forum mentioned a Palm scanner so I was curious if this was the same. The search also mentioned you should check for KR. Also I did e-mail ZZP listing all my mods and asking what they recommend for a pulley size. Lastly good point about not being able to adjust settings.

yah from what i understand u can monitor everything but not reprogram anything and therefor not change ur settings for the smaller pulley
