I dont know much about tires but could i fit a 235/55/R16 on the factory LS wheels on my ''96 without any rubbing problems? Could i go even wider? I was planning on running some raised white letter cooper cobra radial GT''s and i wanted to make sure they would fit before i buy them.

I have 8" wide wheels and tires on mine and thats about as much as I would feel comfortable running.

i have 20 x 8.5 with 245 tyres on.. with the suspension lowered and weight in the back it seems to scrub just a touch only on the rear drivers side.
