Dropped my girlfriend off at work tonight and on the way back got the chance to race a Neon :)
There''''s a spot on the highway where the speed jumps from 55 to 65, anyway, I was alongside the Neon and sped up to 70 in turn he speeds up, gets right along side, and pushes the pedal down I''''m guessing around 3/4 the way, the fart can begins to do it''''s weed eater impression, and the big useless fin did whatever the big useless fin is supposed to do. So I give the MC about 50% throttle, and before you know it he''''s about 20 yards behind me.
I let the car coast back down to 70, and he pulls along side again. I glance over and see that he has a girl in the car that he''''s trying to impress. He stands on the gas, the fart can begins to do it''''s weed eater on racing fuel impression, and the big useless fin did whatever the big useless fin is supposed to do, and he begins to pull away. I let his rear bumper get even with my front, and not one to resist the challenge I too go WOT, and in no time at all am up over 100 and he''''s about 35 yards behind.
By now I have proven my point, Monte''''s eat Neons for breakfast, so I slow down to 70, and he does the ricer fly-by, fart can buzzing all the way.

base Neon''s are a waste of gas to race... as you have clearly illustrated. poor guy thought he had a chance with only a $50 muffler mod

hehe... i love the flyby... they''re so wonderful
i like how you wrote it up... phrases like "weed eater impression" and "big wing doing what big wing does" are great (not sarcasm.. they really were great)
is your Monte an SS or LS? did hte driver have on the ricer huge jeans and wife beater A shirt?

She''s an ''05 Deep Laser Blue LT, as for the writing, I write product reviews in my free time, and try to make it fun to read when I do it, glad it was appreciated.
I think I understand the fly by, they want to flaunt the body kit and tail lights :)
