Sorry folks i had to say good bye to my baby tonight.
We had to upgrade the cars to one instead of two and also due to the front end getting a grining sound in the monte i though ti was finally time to let go. After having the 7K worth of damage done to it and having to fight th eins. com. etc.... I just didnt have the heart to see her tore apart by someone else agian becuse they thought thier car needed parts more then mine did.

WE ended up gettign a honda piolit It is for her for the most part as it is somethign she can use and also something that the kids will have some more room to grow in etc...

So i bid a sad fair well to my best frend the monte carlo.

I will get some shots of the reasons why we turned her in here sometime this weekend . I need ot get my stereo out of it and also get her cleaned up etc... also have some frends and family etc.. to visit this weekend but HOPEFULLY i should ahve a camera in my hand and i will get a shot or two of the new toy.

A HONDA!!!!! Well, I hope you enjoyed the time you had with your Monte, and I hope you will still hang around this place.
I understand about it being time to move on with a car that''s a daily driver. Just gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes. Good luck with the new vehicle. It''s a Honda, I know it''ll be good to you!

ridgeline is hte honda truck.. pilot is an SUV i think.

New Honda''s are a far cry from what they were in the 90''s... they are very nice inside, far from the cheap plastic boring looking cars of the 90''s.

thanks guys/gals
and truth be told we actually did look at the honda ridgeline. that was suposed to be what we got but we could not get the payments where we wanted them .

Also this was kind of a sideways move but was done to make us in a better pos. to get some things that WE REALLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYY WANT!!!!

So if all gose right it will be worth it .

As for the monte carlos i am not sure i will get another one unless it is a classic. I am way to much of a 3rd gen kid i guess LOL

Randy, sorry to see you got rid of the Monte.  Mine just broke 83K and just paid it off.  I think my next car is going to be a Challenger or the new Camaro.  I have decided to wait till after the first run year on each one so that the bugs get worked out.  The Monte will stay in the fleet though and is going to get moth balled soon to live it''s next live a a high school kids car. (My sons that is)

I am going to be in SA August 3rd - Aug 6th, lets try to get that BBQ thing off my IOU list.  Unfortunately Bill Millers is the only thing I have found in SA that resembles BBQ,  we may have to switch gears for Henry''s Puffy Tacos cause I don''t know if I can handle eating Bill Millers again.

Sorry to hear that. My son and his buddies think Honda''s are the best. Good luck with yours.

If that''s the case, you won''t be seeing me make the top 10 list. If I get close, I''ll have to see if I can get another user account ;). I don''t wanna ever give up my baby.
