RE: Radiator flushing - 7/13/2008 9:29:15 AM    purewhitemonte   Posts: 13 Joined: 1/13/2008 Status: offline The radiator will have a drain plug if the radiator was equipped with it.  It''s located on the driver''s side in the bottom back corner.  Once the fluid drains out, you can proceed with draining the fluid from the lower hose which would be step to take if the drain plug is not there. It will also be possible that the thermostat housing may have an air bleed screw on it as well.  Take a screwdriver and back it out 2-3 times to allow air in before doing the draining, so the the fluid can drain out better. The screw would be loosened after removing the radiator cap on the radiator. All this being done with the engine cold of course. (in reply to 03 monte SS) Post #: 3
